Born and raised in Tillicoultry, a small town nestled at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Scotland, Levi Coby is known the world over as “The Scottish Cowboy” — an artist who bridges the Atlantic with a sound that honours both his Scottish roots and the heart of Nashville country music.

Growing up immersed in the timeless country records of Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, George Jones, George Strait, and Garth Brooks, Levi carried music close even as he pursued a promising career in athletics — playing rugby and American football at a high level. Everything changed in his early twenties when a severe car accident shattered his spine, ending his dreams of professional sport and leaving him to rebuild his life. In that rebuilding process, he picked up a guitar — and found his true calling. What began as healing became a lifelong passion, and Levi began writing songs with a depth and honesty that only comes from having walked through fire.

He went on to study at the Universities of Stirling and Glasgow before making the life-changing move to the United States in 2017. Now splitting his time between Nashville, Tennessee, Louisiana, Nevada, and Texas — and married to his American wife Natalie — Levi has fully embraced the country music community while proudly carrying his Scottish heritage everywhere he goes.
