DELPHI RAVENS BIO

The Delphi Ravens are an indie/alternative rock band combining influences from several genres. Delphi Ravens were founded in late 2019 by bassist and ASCAP songwriter Papa B.™ The band comes from the Pacific Northwest with its rich history of breakthrough music. Vocalist Kira delivers her dynamic vocals and co-writes many of the songs. 

The band’s sound has been compared to artists like Deftones, Evanescence, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, etc.

Nine songs have received 14 songwriting awards in 2021-24. The World Songwriting Awards selected Red to Black as Best Rock Song Top 3 finalist in 2022. In 2023, Phobia was selected as Top 10 Best Rock Song finalist, and Burn at Both Ends as Top 10 Best Alternative Song finalist. Also, Between the Lines was a Top 40 winner for the 2023 Musies Awards. Take My Hand was selected as Best Alternative Song Top 5 finalist by Indie Songwriting Awards. Delphi Raven (our anthem) was selected as Best Rock Song finalist in fall 2023. Hardest Goodbye was Best Alternative Song Finalist Winter 2024 and is nominated for Song of the Year for the 2024 Musies Awards. Bittersweet was voted #1 Alternative Song by World Songwriting Awards for summer 2024 and #8 Best Rock Song by Indie International Songwriting Contest. 

The band was nominated for U.S. Band of the Year for all music styles for the ISSA Annual Awards 2024 – 2 years in a row. Take My Hand was a finalist for Song of the Year by ISSA (International Singer Songwriter Assn.) and the band was invited to walk the red carpet at the gala event in August 2023 in Atlanta. TMH also won Elite Music Awards Soundtrack of the Year in 2024, its 5th songwriting award! 

The band continues to write and record new songs.
